The 2015 Petresco, the estate's top Sangiovese, is a powerful, dense wine. Even with all of its natural intensity, the 2015 possesses tremendous energy and vibrancy. Super-ripe black cherry, plum, leather, spice, menthol and sage infuse this sumptuous, potent Sangiovese. I would give the 2015 at least a few years to shed some of its baby fat. Even in the early going, though, it is super-impressive, with great depth and impeccable overall balance. 2020 - 2035
