Opening to notes of balsam herb and cherry cola, the Viticoltori Nardi 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva is a streamlined and pretty wine that speaks of its territory and the vintage. It sports a mid-weight mouthfeel, and although the primary fruit takes a background role, there is enough to guarantee a near or medium-term drinking window. The wine ages in large oak casks for 16 months.
