The 2018 Barolo Vigna Rionda is a very good wine for the year. Classic Rionda aromatics give this mid-weight, pliant Barolo tons of seductiveness. Silky tannins add quite a bit of charm. This is a fine showing in a very difficult year from a vineyard that is still very young following a replanting just a few years ago. Well done.
