Compared to the Barolo Le Coste di Monforte, this wine shows more grip and linearity that serves to underline its streamlined personality. Even the color of this wine is slightly lighter. Showing its vineyard name for the first time, the Amalia Cascina in Langa 2018 Barolo Bussia Vigna Fantini comes from younger vines (planted in 2007) on sandstone-based soils, or Arenarie di Diano, formed by ancient submarine landslides. These sandy soils are common in Monforte d'Alba. These conditions shape the very tight, slender and ethereal character of this wine. 2024 - 2038
