The Barale Fratelli 2016 Barolo Bussia Sergio Barale draws its fruit from a one-hectare property with gray limestone clay and sand. This is an elegant and beautiful expression that shows enormous focus and linearity. Everything about the wine is classic, from its bright but never overdone intensity to its collection of wild berry, blood orange and iron ore aromas. Despite the busy and exciting nature of the bouquet, the mouthfeel delivers the steady, long and nuanced personality of the Nebbiolo grape.
