The 2017 Anfiteatro, 100% Sangiovese, is another stellar wine in this range from Montefili. It shows the magical mix of aromatic and savory intensity, with all the density that is such a house signature. Cedar, sweet pipe tobacco, dried herbs, mint and licorice meld together in a wine of remarkable beauty, pedigree and character. This 2017 is positively stellar. In a word: dazzling. 2025 - 2047
