The 2016 Chianti Classico Filetta di Lamole is terrific. In this vintage, Filetta di Lamole is especially deep, certainly moreso than the first two vintages. At the same time, the 2016 shows all the signatures that are typical of this cool-climate site, with plenty of game, sage, licorice, menthol and spice overtones that add character to a core of dark blue/purplish berry fruit. 2020 - 2031
