Fratelli Alessandria er et familieejet vinmageri. Vingården har været i familiens eje siden 1870. Vingården er beliggende Verduno og råder over ha på bl.a. de lokale vinmarker San Lorenzo og Monvigliero, samt i Monforte Gramolere. På trods af Fratelli Alessandrias traditionelle stil kan vinene betegnes som velstrukturerede og elegante. Freshly cut flowers, mint, spices, wild herbs and underbrush take shape in the Alessandria's 2009 Barolo Monvigliero. There are plenty of the distinct savory/floral notes that distinguish Monvigliero, all given an extra kick of breadth by the warmth of the year. This is without question one of the best wines of the year. Fresh, vibrant and impeccable.
